Douze horizons

Douze Horizons perform live at Edifice Wilder Montreal QC 2021 Quebec Musiques Paralleles.

Douze Horizons was created as part of a commission by Avatar, a self-managed arts center dedicated to audio and electronic art, located in Quebec City, Canada.
This CD is an archive of the first performance that took place at Méduse in October 2021 in Quebec City.
Questions of paleoecology and paleoclimatology are addressed, from the postglacial period and the Goldthwait Sea to the present day.
It has been imagined in its temporal organization, as a superimposition of subjective strata nourished by sound materials collected in eastern Quebec, in Nitassinan.
The photos in this collection come from my travels in Quebec between 2005 and 2021, and bear witness to the current landscapes, footprints and erosions I noted along Route 138, right up to its end.
